10/07/2023 - New Album Release; Remix This Vol. 3

Decided to make a new Remix This and is Vol 3 so far and is of tracks I made ages ago and some I just made last night but the old tracks have been released ages ago on Bandcamp but they aren’t on there no more so I decided to rerelease it again and is a free download, I can’t sell them on the major platforms so enjoy. The remixes are from artists like Mary J Blige, Brandy, CeCe Peniston, Monica, Snap, Baby D, Adina Howard, Zhane and more, for more details on the exact songs used you can go to Creation Zone>Inspirations for the original track used in the songs. I do enjoy making remixes of acapella I found online it’s always hard to pick a song that I like and can use I also like to make my own acapella with Iztope RX whatever the number as it keeps going up. It’s always fun to make the acapella and hope it doesn’t mess up the bit you intend to use and that is always the way guess I’m bad at picking bits beforehand which is why I like to do it while I making it instead of it being planned and beforehand. I must admit I do feel blessed with all the songs and acapella at my fingertips but I do miss having the acapella on a single which was a main feature on most CDs and tapes of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. I don’t even know if they still do the acapella on a single or on the album which is rare unless it’s at the end with the remixes and that but I do miss having acapella on the singles, I would be making more remixes as. I find it hard to pick songs from the top of my head, I used to be good at knowing songs without playing them as I played them so much but now I struggle to think of songs, especially the more obscure ones mainly from the 90s but nowadays they are overplayed a little like One For The Money by Horace Brown. I can’t remember the first remix I ever listened to that would be a hard one but I did love all the remixes from the 90s especially R’n’B and Hip Hop/Rap and I love when they flip it around and turn Hip Hop to R’n’B or vice versa they did that a lot in the 90s and 2010s era in Trap, Hip Hop and R’n’B. They did some sick Hip Hop to R’n’B one of my favourites was just a female perspective something I also love when they switch perspective but one of my favourites is Milla J Don’t she was pretty good and had a couple of hits in my opinion but the most played was Smoke, Drink & Breakup but I like that remix a lot also the SWV remix to Anything Featuring Wu Tang Clang.
