Sea Goddess Info
We came across a statue that was near the sea and clifftops. I called it a sea goddess but I have no idea what it is and what it actually represents. The statue was behind a locked gate which we had to climb over to get some good photos of it. I was kind of taken by seeing it as it was in a hidden corner of fields and not something I don’t see everyday. I have no idea what it’s made of but it in cased in stone. Â
Mediterranean Pasty Info
One thing I loved was the scenery and it was beautiful and breathe taking at times. I love the parts on the Lizard Point coast that was the best scenery it was open fields meeting the blue sea and the clifftops. Whilst taking in the views I was eating a Mediterranean pasty we bought from the shop which is why I called it Mediterranean Pasty and the views of course which really caught my eye. Â
Lighthouse Info
Being on holiday it’s only right to visit some places and the Lizard Lighthouse right on the coast is one place we went to. It’s a old lighthouse and has been built and modified several times including a electric light for the top of the lighthouse. Apparently the place has shut down for good since we were there and is now holiday homes somewhere cool to stay if you have the money and in the area.Â
Working At The Serpentine Info
We found this real old ruins of a Serpentine factory but it was also a cellar to keep fresh fish before that. It stretches for a bit and has more old ruins of factory buildings and also where the watermill was once to. It was on a quiet cobbled cove which never had that many people around whilst we was there and we were there quite a bit so it was nice and peaceful.
Pulse Info
Whilst out and about on my holiday we went on a clifftop walk and boy I didn’t like it. There were narrow paths near the edge and gaps to quite a nasty fall and there was my friend breakdancing near the edge doing gymnastics and all sorts. Okay he wasn’t doing any of those things but he was getting way to close to the edge for my liking and I could see him fall of the edge of the cliff. Luckily we got back safe but I’m thankful we did make it back alright and we wasn’t injured or worse.
Light A Candle For Christmas
Light a candle this Christmas for the messiah is here,
the highest of the high
On a upper tier,
For it’s time to give and to receive,
the time to get merry
And a good time to breathe,
Christmas is around the corner and as people rush,
for their shopping
And Santa’s brush,
We must remember the ones in need,
light a candle this Christmas
For the selfish greed,
As even though it’s all about fun in the season,
remember the teachings
And the whole reasons
Mary and Joseph and their awaited son,
they travelled for miles
Until they were done,
But of course have fun and go wild,
light a candle this Christmas
For the unborn child,
Light a candle this Christmas for the sick and the lonely,
for people with addictions
And for the phony,
For people who are grieving or been though a lot,
light a candle this Christmas
For yourself and the day dots,
Cos it’s time to rejoice with your family, neighbours and friends,
time to watch TV and films
And go on wild bends,
It’s the season to get off your face,
but don’t over do it
Slow down the pace,
Fill those stockings and wrap on the presents,
time to get plump
Like a pheasant,
But don’t forget big Ol Santa,
Be in bed early
And spare the ranter,
In the middle of the night he will come,
Like a thief in the night
And on the run,
With his magical sack that is so vast,
where is time going
It goes so fast,
As yet another year slips by,
light a candle this Christmas
For those who still cry,
For the ones who are miserable and soak in such pity,
light a candle this Christmas
For the ones who are still gritty,
Light a candle this Christmas for the wars and the misplacement,
light a candle this Christmas
For those homeless or living in the basement,
For those who are surviving or keeping a float,
light a candle this Christmas
For those fresh off the boat,
Light a candle for your family and your friends,
for those who you are close to
And the ones who pretend,
As it’s that time to put away the evil tricks,
time to decorate,
And go to the flicks,
Whatever you do do be good,
light a candle this Christmas,
Really you should,
