Unsafe Dummies is a synthy album I made ages ago that was around public information films or PIFs for short. The PIFs are from the 70s onwards and were the do’s and don’ts of the day and used to scare me as a kid watching them but I am a safe person and that is thankful to the PIFs as a child and watching the dangers of other people on TV. What I loved about them now looking back at them they were dramatic and quite intense and they always made you jump when you are not expecting it I wasn’t ready for some of the scenes but as I said it taught me lessons that I haven’t even crossed yet. The worst ones for me were the fire ones that were about smoking and heater fires I was always worried about putting it on or even the smokers in the house but I never fall asleep with a cigarette in my hand or though I have done before I was still half awake and don’t rest easy till the cigarette has been put out.  The other thing as well climbing on the pylons I always stayed clear from them and never messed around near them but I always saw them as hazardous. It’s a shame they don’t make them or much of them anymore and I think people learned a great deal from them no matter how shocking they were but I do miss them in a way the do’s and don’ts of the world and don’t forget to turn your tv off lol.
