More winter synthy vibes as it was sort of cold out I say sort of as -2 ain’t -40 but it was icy and cold like the ridiculous cold but not as bad as some other places in the world. I love it when it snows though it’s when I like to go out and make snowmen and walk in the snow when I had my dog Patch we used to go out every year when it was snowing she used to love the snow I haven’t been out for years in the snow since she passed away but I do like winter walks in the snow just as long as it’s not that slippery. This EP is not Christmas related but about winter though it could be played around Christmas if you want. I also like to make winter music in the winter as I probably said a few times now and I also like listening to winter music whilst snowing to get that proper feel to it hopefully this EP will suit you well. When I was on Flickr I used to take pictures of the snow down country lanes and stuff and they came out the terrible, cheap cameras if you ask me but it was nice to have some photos of the snow and me and the dog and the snowman but I do prefer summer but winter is a time I either like to stay in or go out sometimes it’s too cold to go out or I’m just tired or if it’s too slippery out there. Mind you I didn’t look forward to the winter when I was growing up hanging around in those streets night after night with my two layers and Wooley hat we used to hang around the back of the supermarket when it was proper cold but so obvious as the police were always called. I remember on New Year’s Eve it was how cold it was I was pissed let’s say and I vowed never to be in the cold again not that I kept to promise now I enjoy staying in in the hot and cold weather but I do want to change that and get out a bit more.Â

A mixed bag of winter and Christmas music in the form of a mixtape and is music from my radio station Ghosting Radio home to all my music released and unreleased and has different shows throughout the day and year including nighttime, afternoon, seasonal and more. It was played throughout Christmas and winter from the 25th of November till the 21st of March. I decided to make this mixtape to promote my radio station and to give away something free for Christmas so I decided to make another mixtape. This year’s winter/Christmas album and a free download on Bandcamp if you want it for on the go. It’s more of the winter wonderland vibe it’s snowing looking at the window music and at a nice relaxing pace with some upbeat tracks in there too. I love to make seasonal winter it’s my favourite time of year or one of them and love to spend time making winter music to relax at a later date as it’s good for my system. There are no carols in the album and I try not make carol tracks as I’ve already covered them in an old album I did ages ago but I’m trying to make time to practice on my keyboard again and learning carols is one of those things I want to do but I am waiting for Christmas to be closer. I’m not sure what I’m doing this Christmas not a lot I don’t really do that much around Christmas time I used to go to London but I don’t go any more but I think I’ll make more music and relax and do something but who knows what. My favourite parts of Christmas were actually going down to the church on Christmas Eve and singing and listening to the carols and also TV used to be good but I heard it is dire now as it’s all repeats. I also enjoy Christmas dinner even though I don’t eat a lot I always love the food and sometimes it can be overpowering looking at all that food on that table but less is more as they say lol. Once again the time has gone so fast and once again I can’t believe we are nearly 2023 I’ll have to remember the year when writing it down I always forget at first then cross it out and rewrite it. I don’t know what I’m doing new year I know I’ll be at home but I feel like I want to go out but don’t know where to or even if that’s what I want as I’m getting older now I’m nearly in my 40s lol. I called the album Festive Winters as it’s festive and wintry throughout which I thought suited the album and the cover is an art I made that I re-photoshopped to something without anyone in the picture. It was just going to be an EP but I wanted to do an album as I felt it was Christmas and had to be longer than an EP so, in the end, I did 12 tracks which make up the album and I always make a winter or Christmas album so I keep up with the shenanigans but as always I enjoyed making it. I would like it to be closer to Christmas before making winter music as I get more in the mood but I know people won’t listen to Christmas music after Christmas so I do it early way before the rush so it’s all up and running but I might make a quick EP around Christmas and try to release it around the same time if I can get it booked in that is. I would say this year has zoomed right by but it’s gone kind of fast even though the months do fly by but I think I’ve been counting down the days which makes the days go slower but I have noticed that since COVID everything has slowed down.
