Dystopia VST Plugin [FREE DOWNLOAD]

DYSTOPIA VST PLUGIN
[FREE DOWNLOAD]

I wanted to make another VST plugin, so here it is, my next project, bringing you edgy and dystopian sounds for your music. I used a keyboard that a friend gave me to make the sounds, and then I used FXs to change the sound into something more different. I also used Romplur and free photo-shopping software called Gimp to put it together and make it into a VST. I was inspired by something I read and mentioned Electronic Dystopia, which is something I do now and then, and I already made a sample pack with the same title, but I’m happier with this one. I’m really into my dystopia music, and the subject is quite interesting, and now I think about it, I wouldn’t like to live in a dystopian or utopian world and that we are good the way we are in this crazy world. I think the world we are living in is a dystopian one, as no matter where you turn, there’s a bit of craziness, and everyone is losing their minds. I made the demo tracks below with Electronic music in mind, but I think there are a few sounds you could use in other genres, like Electronic Dance Music, just give it a go.

Bandcamp News – New EP Release; Vocalizer Demos

BANDCAMP NEWS

23/11/2024 - New EP; Vocalizer Demos

A collection of demos from my free VST Vocoder which I put togther using Romplur something I use to put the VST togther and Gimp for the photoshopping. I left the link in one of the buttons below if you want to check out the plugin and it’s for Windows and Mac. I used my own voice and then I used the Vocoder by Artuia to change the voice into something more applicable and I love that plugin you really get some good sounds from them which are useable and makes the track into something special and the great thing is you can add your own samples by dragging and dropping the sample into the slot so it extends warrenty for quite some time and means it can be different from other people’s who may of used the same vocoder preset. I get bored making the same genres over and over again so I made a bit of diffrence on the EP and also to display the many possibiltites you could have with the Vocoder as I think it’s quite verstile but is good for upbeats tracks. The first track Alive (I’m Glad To Be) is a Electronic music number and something I quite like for it’s quirkyness to it and the chorus vocals which I quite like. I like the ending and the create the future vocals with the end vocals to pan it off to the end. The next track Don’t Judge By Cover is a House number and something a bit more upbeat and outgoing. I like the first vocals and the chrous vocals which I think goes well together and the second chorus vocals is my one of my favorite ones I made as I like the warmness to it. It’s one of my favourites on the EP as I think it’s something you can dance to or have on and enjoy with the levels up.The next track Satisfaction is a Synthwave number and I like the bass to this one something light and space buggy. I also like the vocoder vocals which enhances the synthwave feel to it and something I like to listen to and hopefully you do too. I also like the end vocals another favourite on the vocoder and brings more bounce to the song which makes it another favouite on the EP. The last track Name Please is a Jungle/Drum and Bass track which is my overall favouite on the EP and my overall favourite vocals on the Vocoder. I like the bass over the vocals it’s something I could dance to or have on loud for sure. I didn’t add too much synthy stuff on this one as I liked it with the bass and vocals so I kept it as it was which I think sounds alright.

6/3/2025 - New Album; Grey Nights

Getting into my Electronic music swag bag to make this album, which is also a concept album and part of the Afrofuturism moods I’ve been doing. I won’t get into the story as I’ve already made a YouTube video with all the music on the album in the video, and I timed each chapter to the music so it fitted good and there weren’t any hanging bits. The video, which is a short comic-like story, has me and my dog Patch as the main characters. I like to think of myself as a storyteller and enjoy making up things for pure entertainment, as you may have discovered on my other websites, gameforexpermentation.co.uk and randomgas.com. I used my own drums from my own collection of drum kits, and I think I used the Roland 808 drum kit, which is one of my favourites to use, but I’m starting to favour the Lin Drum, but not the snares. For the synthesizers I used the Matrix 12 from the Artuia’s V Collection which I like to use on all my spacy tracks and I made quite a few by now some are unreleased and stuff I was meant to release on a day but forgot so it’s unreleased for now until I find the tracks again. My friend and I wrote the story first, well, first there were chapter ideas, and it turned into a brief description of each chapter, which I followed along with in the track titles and also in the story, which is below if you want to check that out. I enjoyed making the story, which I used a comic style and photoshopped the pictures. It’s something I’ve done before and enjoy doing I think it’s quite fun and keeps me busy for a second but I use the free open source software called Gimp and is my go to program for photoshopping and making stuff with pictures. The first track, which is called Cheers, is a soft, synthy number and has a warm bass and gentle follow-along synths to go with the rest of the track. I like it and it is one of my favourites on the album. I wish it were longer, though.  The next track, called Weird is a more upbeat track with more lively playing and drum action. Once again, it should be longer, but it had to fit the chapter. The next track, called The Feel Is Strange, is another favourite of mine on the album, as I like the upbeatness to it, and I like the synths to this one. The next track, called Lock & Key, is another one I quite like, and I like the robot fear to it and the chorus synth, which wakes the song up; it’s meant to invoke danger and evil aliens and their robots, which I think it did quite well. The next track is called A Bid For Freedom, and another favourite on the album, as I like the danger feel to it and the extra-terrestrial feel to it. I also like the melody to this one with the frantic end-of-the-world playing. The next track is called Captured, is a more laid back track that I quite like until the strings start kicking in, then it’s more doom doom doom music. I was going for that tense feel to the track to invoke being captured and being held hostage by the captors. The last track, Home Dry, is another favourite on the album as I like the bass with the frantic string stabs and the chorus which makes the track.

Charity Donations; Give; Samples

May 18, 2025

I was clearing out my cupboards when I discovered some noisy toys and other stuff that makes noise around my flat and in the neatly compacted cupboard, which led me to a new series of stuff from the charity shops, which my friend bought and will buy more. I’m done with the toys, so straight back to where they come from, the charity shop. Let’s see what the local charity shops have installed. I can smell something good now.

Phase 3; In The Garage Stuff

May 17, 2025

I was around 9 when I began working with the UK Garage people at the Fire Station and in the outskirts of a district here in Bristol called St Paul’s. I had fun testing the keyboards and also writing stuff, which was the fun part. It’s also where I met UK Garage singer Kele Le Roc, who had her two smash hits in the UK Garage scene, one called My Love and the other is called Things We Do For Love both produced by UK Garage producer Sticky. A lot of good UK Garage came out around 1996 and was spinning some many decent tunes that I really love to hear when I’m out or even at home I had no idea any of the genres for that matter would blow up so big and became staples of the rave scene I was also a part of it’s kind of awkward to dance to lol.

Musique Non Stop Kraftwerk & Jean-Michel Jarre inspired Vaporwave Mixtape

May 17, 2025

Thanks to Bort Media for putting one of my songs on their mixtape. Mine is the second track called Art Installation and has my dear friend messing about on the microphone and me doing the creative side, which I love doing. It’s funny as Kraftwerk & Jean-Michel Jarre are my inspiration when making my Electronic music, and I discovered Jean’s music through the library and was hooked by the level of it all and Droid too.Â
