29/03/2022 - New EP Release; R US

This EP is about the lost toy store Toys R US a loved shop by many and part of many side jokes that I actually can’t remember. My experience with toy shopping was always disappointing as I never got what I was looking at which is the way of life but damn that action figure looked cool on the TV and I refuse to swear about it lol. I also decided to make it as I was messing about and discovered some things in the making of it that I yet haven’t discovered if I set out what I was hunting for which was toy music. Without sounding too old-fashioned ain’t the toys nowadays technical oh wow and also quite expensive to keep buying or is it phones and IPads they desire? I desire synths which are my toys and I like to mess around with them a lot but I know they ain’t toys but I call them that as they are fun and you never get bored okay you do but it takes a long time depending on many days, weeks, months or years you’ve been playing for. I can go for a while but I take breaks and do other things like promoting and video visuals and editing and also photoshop but also my website too which I love to do in my spare time which is all the time at the moment.

22/03/2022 - New Album Release; The Synth Way

I’ve been on my MIDI keyboard a lot and I think I am finally going back to how I used to play but probably a bit slower now and less technical with the keys and the overall design of the tracks.  This EP is a free download as I used the tracks in a blog post I made not so long back which was about my top 5 favorite synthesizers plugins I have a few now and I actually kind of collect the best ones and can be quite expensive but there are deals you know I love a good bargain and I wouldn’t say I was cheap without sounding off speed so to speak. There is something about synth music that does it for me and all the BS aside it can appeal to anyone and as a producer there is a lot you can do with and fits all sorts of genres some are quite surprising but not really if I thought about it but it’s a win, win situation for me anyway. 17/03/2022 - New EP Release; You Got Mail

Mr. Postman’s joke though it’s not really a joke and just a play on the song by the Please Mr. Postman by The Marvelettes the Motown song and not actually about the song itself in the tracks. I used to get excited to see the postman even though it wasn’t that much but it was important now I just leave it to fill up and pick the mounting letters up when I’m ready to as its bills bills bills or buy buy buy and all my money mostly goes on my music and I’ve put in some money along the way as I feel it does help though a bit unfair at times. I hate writing though with pen and I’m so glad those days are over and we now type which is a lot faster and cleaner for the environment but most important of all it means my hands don’t get stiff or dead from overwriting but yes it’s much better now but I must say I do like expression and that happens a lot in letters and stuff which is why I used to love writing especially to the stars of Hollywood which I’m glad I never got a reply as I would have passed out or something which is not cool for me lol….or uncool funny enough.

01/03/2022 - New EP Release; Topical

I’ve made a new EP called Topical and is called that as it’s all based on current affairs of things that were happening in January and February like the strong winds that reached over 100 mph here in the UK to Rihanna getting pregnant and congratulations once again. Also the war between Russia and Ukraine and a weird dream I had which isn’t really topical but it’s currently what I was doing so I added that in there too.  The strong winds were strong and nearly knocked me backward I was only going to the shop and also the shocking pregnancy of Rihanna well I was shocked but not shocked, but more surprised but not that much. I’m not nearly really tuning in to the war that is happening right now it’s too much doom and gloom and I noticed some newspapers were really bringing it home with a nuclear explosion and they are going to attack that it’s all too much so I did a little blackout and save it for another day. The dream I had was kind of weird and was on a really nice tropical beach hence the name of the track but I can’t remember much of it and it was a short dream before it changed it always does that and I kind of lose the plot a little in the dream but what does it mean? It has got dramatic all of a sudden with COVID and the war and all the other drama I have thankfully forgotten.

14/02/2022 - New Album Release; Moving Ahead

You know sometimes in life you feel you have to move forward or else be that stagnated person in the pond well at the moment that’s how I feel and I keep thinking of things to advance myself further as I was quite active growing up but then I got my flat it became boring and I quickly forgot my old life but I was happy to take a rest as it’s not good for the body and mind all that partying and on the go attitude that I have still got but more in a creative way now which is a lot different to the old me but still too creative in my spare time. I’m actually ready for the next bit of my journey and have been doing bits and bobs around town surely I can get back into things if only I could remember all the things I learned along the way I mean I know a little bit but to get me to where I want to be in life which is happy and doing something creative and I actually love to work in teams and brainstorm etc I don’t know why I’m not in the advertising industry no no no music is my passion and doing things on the computer like photoshopping and video editing.

09/02/2022 - New EP Release; Hop Skip & Jump

Another synthy EP I’ve made and this one is dark and light at the same time. I called it Hop Skip & Jump as it feels that is what I’m doing with the amount of stuff I’ve been doing like building this website and also making games from templates which is new to me and something I’m probably not equipped for but making music has also been my love just a bit boring doing the same EQing and compression routines and it’s nice to have change into something different. I kept it synthy throughout and what I call Synergy which is a mix of synth and energy, not my words though but somewhere where I saw it. It’s relaxing in parts and upbeat in some others which is how I like my music also I made some tracks dark and edgy as that’s the music I seem to make the best out and some of my favorite tracks are dark but saying that most of them are light songs. It takes energy to do a hop skip and jump and hopefully I will find it in me to get out there and do a leap but at the moment I’m just resting and taking each day as they come.

12/01/2022 - New EP Release; The Year Is Now

Bringing in the New Year with some House vibes which I should have released in the summer but they are up now. The EP is a House EP but does have US Garage and many house elements in there and I like to think it’s easy to dance to and fun. I like music I can dance to so this is dance-related and I’ve done a few House tracks recently and that is how I started but I made other genres too which weren’t dance-related. I like Deep House and there is one Deep House track on there which is the second track but it’s not deep, deep house. As I said I like music I can dance to and also enjoy in my spare time so this EP is what I like about House some elements at least. Heavy basses and catchy melodies with some vocals on top are what is on this EP  but I will be adding lots more over the summer and autumn, I’ve already made 5 EPs so far and I still feel like doing more so look out for them.

09/01/2022 - New EP Release; Mind Passage

I like to experiment with music when I’m really in the mood and record sounds and make stuff out of them from that. This is what this EP is and isn’t about anything much but just experimental tracks I made and put out I called it Work Safe from the PIF or PSA films that I used to watch when I was younger. The EP experiments with synths and sounds and are stuff I edited using filters, reverb, delay, and other effects accompanied by synths and drums. This is a recreation of  EP I made before I was at uni and I think helps with concentration and self-awareness and isn’t the normal stuff I make and was when I was bored and wanted to try something new. They say making new genres you haven’t made yet is good for your level of making music and also experimenting is good for finding something new which is why I love and it’s fun stuff that is newish.

04/01/2022 - New Album; Release; Sour Eyes

 This is a Hip Hop album I made ages ago and didn’t put out but I thought what the hell and released it anyway as I liked it and thought it was good enough to be heard despite me not making much Hip Hop recently as there is a lot of that already and it’s Trap now which I like I just heard enough and see a lot of people making it. I keep that for when I do play something new and current but I do love trap though and UK Drill I like but I don’t listen to a lot of it and prefer instrumentals. Well obviously being brought up in the 80s and 90s I like all things old when it comes to Hip Hop from the 70s, 80s and not forgetting the era of Hip Hop in the 90s and also R’N’B also my favorite so I make old skool beats but there are some Trap elements but it’s mostly old skool 90s Hip Hop drum beats the good old fashion slow rhythms that were mellow but so catchy you can’t knock old skool Hip Hop from anywhere before 2010.

01/02/2022 - New EP Release; Nuclear Dreams

More synthy stuff with an EP about dreams I kept having and were about being in a nuclear attack which one of them had Putin in and had several explosions in. The dreams were recurring and more of a nightmare but it was interesting in being in a nuclear nightmare as I can wake up and know it wasn’t real. One bit of the nightmare was in a civic center and was deserted it felt like being in a zombie apocalypse and was very surreal no one was around and everything was open. I made another EP a couple of years back which didn’t turn out as good so I made this one to make it sound better and to tell more of the nightmare I had. They are different tracks from the first EP which is unreleased and can be found on my Bandcamp page they are all from scratch as I didn’t have the files to repair the tracks with. I wrote a whole blog post about it and that can be found in the main menu under blogs it’s called Dream Nuclear and is all that I remember about the dream I got most of it down but some parts are missing.
