Bandcamp News – New EP; Haunting Time

BANDCAMP NEWS

23/01/2023 - New Album Release; Haunting Time

A special Halloween EP I made ages ago and released and is now back on my Bandcamp. I got the clips online and feature clips from Twilight, Teletubbies, Children Of The Corn, and House Of Wax. Okay so Teletubbies ain’t creepy but I wanted to make it a bit weird and scary as I feel the Teletubbies look not evil just weird and something you would see under the influences. One of my favourite films I like to watch is Children Of The Corn the first one and I think it’s atmospheric and quite creepy it gives me a lot of inspiration like the Playground EP I did was kind of based on that and was around evil kids taking over the playground and doing evil on the land. House Of Wax is also one of my favourite films to watch and I like the older one as again I think it’s more atmospheric but I do like the one that was ain the 2000s but it could of been House On The Hill as I watched both around the same time. I haven’t watched a film for ages now and I think it’s cos I like to be on my computer a lot and can’t seem to get off the thing but I do like to watch horror movies. The last film I watched was The Banana Splits which I wished I got more as it was before my time but it’s was a kids show before that, that got sold and made into a horror film. It’s something that creeps me out actually and reminds me of when I went to Disney Land Paris and seeing Mickey etc they are so weird not the people inside them but  to see them stare at you just freaks me out but I was laughing though.

Bandcamp News – New Album Release; It’s A Jungle

BANDCAMP NEWS

23/01/2023 - New Album Release; It's A Jungle

A Jungle and Drum and Bass album of stuff I made ages ago but released again for the fun of it. They are all of clips I got off the internet and made into Jungle and Drum and Bass remixes. It’s clips from Snow White, Thunderbirds, Bill Clinton, Marylin Monroe and two off Public Information Films or PIFS which is Dark And Lonely Water and the a Pylon safety short film. I didn’t make these from scratch but are loops I got off Loopmasters a place I used to shop and get my loops from until I got used to making beats from scratch apart for the drums and breaks in House and Jungle/Drum and Bass which I like to use Splice to get the drums from and saves half the time and it also sounds better more what I want full club drums which takes time to build with all the algorithms and stuff you would do the pattern to make it sound more fuller and sounding better. I’ve made a few remixes of Dark & Lonely Water including a House Version, two Drum and Bass and Jungle versions, a experimental version and a synthy version but the one on this album is the original version and the first I made from the bunch I made. I called it’s It’s A Jungle as I feel life is getting more downhill and I like to blame the rise of the internet and the progressive lack of understanding and not being shallow which I see to many people being shallow when they have no place to be but anyway I’m not talking about it.

Bandcamp News – New Album Release; Remix This Vol. 2

BANDCAMP NEWS

23/01/2023 - New Album Release; Remix This Vol. 2

Vol. 2 of Remix This my House remixes of famous songs that I remixed. I picked my favourite tracks that I have played thousands of times before I remixed them and is kind of weird remixing them after playing them over the years and decades.  I won’t name the songs but it’s music from Groove Armada, Aaliyah, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Madonna, Stevie O Adventures and more. They are all old tracks that I released ages ago and put them back online as I couldn’t get into my old accounts when I deleted my Gmail account oops. Most of the artists on this one aren’t here anymore and was on a special album which is why they are a lot of passed on artists on here and I wasn’t trying to exploit their profits but to celebrate their life and music but it’s sad how most of them ended up and it’s a worrying thing to see someone go off the handle especially what happened to Britney Spears which is another reason why I didn’t want to became famous and that did put me off a lot but before that I always dreamt of being famous but I like the backstage scenes which suit me better when I was working. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn’t live without music I don’t think I could live without it and don’t go a day without having music on in the background or blasting it but I don’t blast it that much maybe sometimes but I like to keep it to bare minimal. You can listen to the original tracks then my track in a special two part video which can be found in the main menu under Gas Leak Parties it’s called Inspirations Vol. 1.

Music News – New EP Release; Sucker Game

January 22, 2023

MUSIC NEWS

20/01/2023 - New EP Release; Sucker Game

A UK Funky and House EP which is all vocal. I haven’t made much UK Funky or House for a while as I’ve been making Drum and Bas/Jungle which has been getting me the plays that I want on Spotify, Soundcloud etc but I do enjoy making House and UK Funky even though I more used to making House it was good to try and make something new as I’ve done an album and a couple of tracks that I was and wasn’t happy with. I called it Sucker Game as I see a lot of suckers in the mist and I also feel some people are being drawn into stuff that has no meaningful explanations or exact answers apart from the obvious which is all debatable but not exactly stuff within our control so therefor is not worth stressing about but worth debating face to face as an open discussion and your thoughts on it instead of being in this fear-mongering society we live in. This doesn’t mean to be ignorant of the situation but don’t be suckered into the fear and go or say something stupid or something that could land you in hot water. I think the world is getting a bit dare I say it dunce and people are willing to believe anything but not believe the smaller things in life also due to the rise of clout and fame it’s harder to tell your story without being judged, crossed examined or be called a liar which okay I can take being crossed examined and in a way called a liar I have nothing to lie or hide but I know they do but I do think people need to slow down with the look at me I trying to breathe over here lol!

Bandcamp News – New Album Release; Safety First

BANDCAMP NEWS

20/01/2023 - New Album Release; Safety First

A special album I made of UK and US public information film clips or PIFS for short and are from the 60s, 70s, and 80s the special eras of the PIF which were dauting to watch. I said this a few times now but I’ll say it again you do learn quite a lot from the PIFS and they are mostly educational and a blessing to have watched as I could of sworn I’ve been saved by accidents thanks to the public information films and have a lot to thank them for so thank you. On top of that it makes good memories me waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the fire PIFS which was about smoking in bed and also the electric fire leaving that on at night and how dangerous it is, it makes me scared to put on a candle as I live in a flat and there is only one way out which is out the window but luckily it’s not that high. I’m not trying to shame no one but I’m surprised on the amount of people who can’t swim and I think it’s a life lesson we all need to go through just in case of a fatal accident which could end up you dead basically. I’m also surprised how many stupid people there are who would risk their life for a stunt on camera and not the trained professionals but the every day person. I’m not the one to mess around with danger and that’s all probably to do with watching the PIFS as a child. I love watching the old FBI PIFs and they are the most interesting to watch as they say a lot and are funny but not funny at the same time depending on which one you are watching but my favourite one to watch is the nuclear attack ones as they are the most interesting to watch and quite scary it’s a daunting thing that we could be attacked any minute but let’s hope not.

Bandcamp News – New EP Release; Sampler – EP 1

BANDCAMP NEWS

18/01/2023 - New EP Release; Sampler - EP 1

I decided to get the tape deck out and boy was it a headache but I managed to scrap up something from it and make a House and UK Funky EP with it. I sampled four songs from The Temptations Just My Imagination, Lil ‘ Kim Back Stabbers, Mary J Blige’s Changes I’ve Been Going Through and Chaka Khan Miss The Water which I recorded onto a tape deck and cleaned them up which was the worse bit and used RX10by Iztope to clean up the samples. It took four days after three attempts and I’m happy with this one but there are parts that were hard to clean like the tape slide and the warping sound which doesn’t sound too bad with the pitched effect on it. I might have to invest in some more tools to clean up the samples and get a good tape deck that doesn’t over slide or warp when playing it back as it sounds a headache in the mix and hard to clean up with just filter EQs alone but I will get better and research the products I need to do the job properly. Since I can’t clear the samples it’s a free download on Bandcamp and I will try and do some more acapella-based sampling with the tape deck in the future which will be all free and on Bandcamp the place where all my free downloads are based on. I wanted to improve the songs I make and I think I improved it on this EP which I hope to make more like this in the future but it’s hard when I’m making songs day after day with no breaks it kind of takes the fun and feels to the songs kind of like being over saturated. I will add the original songs to the inspirational section on this site in the music section of the main menu on this site for those who haven’t heard it or want to catch up.
