 This is a Hip Hop album I made ages ago and didn’t put out but I thought what the hell and released it anyway as I liked it and thought it was good enough to be heard despite me not making much Hip Hop recently as there is a lot of that already and it’s Trap now which I like I just heard enough and see a lot of people making it. I keep that for when I do play something new and current but I do love trap though and UK Drill I like but I don’t listen to a lot of it and prefer instrumentals. Well obviously being brought up in the 80s and 90s I like all things old when it comes to Hip Hop from the 70s, 80s and not forgetting the era of Hip Hop in the 90s and also R’N’B also my favorite so I make old skool beats but there are some Trap elements but it’s mostly old skool 90s Hip Hop drum beats the good old fashion slow rhythms that were mellow but so catchy you can’t knock old skool Hip Hop from anywhere before 2010. Â
More synthy stuff with an EP about dreams I kept having and were about being in a nuclear attack which one of them had Putin in and had several explosions in. The dreams were recurring and more of a nightmare but it was interesting in being in a nuclear nightmare as I can wake up and know it wasn’t real. One bit of the nightmare was in a civic center and was deserted it felt like being in a zombie apocalypse and was very surreal no one was around and everything was open. I made another EP a couple of years back which didn’t turn out as good so I made this one to make it sound better and to tell more of the nightmare I had. They are different tracks from the first EP which is unreleased and can be found on my Bandcamp page they are all from scratch as I didn’t have the files to repair the tracks with. I wrote a whole blog post about it and that can be found in the main menu under blogs it’s called Dream Nuclear and is all that I remember about the dream I got most of it down but some parts are missing.
A Christmas album of classic Christmas carols that I got from MIDI and made my own drum patterns and trimmings to it. It is a synth-based album and versions of Christmas carols that are some of my favorite and best-received ones. There’s something about going to a church around Christmas or Christmas Eve or on the day but I haven’t been for a while now I do enjoy the carols and the organ and choir it’s soothing and something that screams Christmas. My favorite time of year was Christmas as it was a chance to sing some carols and be merry but I loved the way there were melodies inside the carols that were catchy and fun to sing along to. The album is hopefully Christmasy and an album to wrap up the presents or get ready for whatever festive thing you are doing. It’s funny as Christmas is not my time of year now but I always loved Christmas and have recently started to decorate a little bit and be a bit more festive which is better than being a grouch who hates Christmas, and this is a free download. Â
