30/07/2024 - New Album Release; 6 Pack Remixes V

Another 6 Pack Remixes of House tracks I remixed some of the other tracks I made from my collection of files. I can’t believe that it is August already but I thought I quickly get this one in before the end of summer which will be next month. I dropped my hard drive again so I haven’t got the older files but I have a few to go to but I’m going to have to get it fixed sometime but obviously that cost money and it’s not cheap but I’m saving up as we speak so hopefully they will be able to recover all the files it’s 2TB worth and all my backed up stuff that wouldn’t fit on the computer. I actually got a disk image of the hard drive but I wasn’t able to recover the files and it took so long for it not to pick up anything I wasn’t happy. Anyway less drama back to the music. As I said the last time the weather has been nice and I felt like doing some House summer music so I made this short album or another EP of my 6 Pack Remixes. They are all from my most recent stuff which I released in the last couple of months and some from my UK Funky album I made not so long ago around a month or two ago or it may have been my last release yes it was my last release. I do like to make lots of variations to my songs with remixes and alternative versions which I do every now and then but saying that I might do an alternative EP or album next, something synthy and alternative or a few runs of alternative versions on a say House EPs and the last track would be alternative who knows. The first track U Like It (Remix) is a clubby bassy track you can dance to and was featured heavily on my mixes I say heavily as I mixed it in a rave mix for New Year’s Eve and also on my Jack Of House Mix II. It’s a good track for a club mix so it would be good in a rave or at a party or even if you are messing about or cleaning your where you live. It’s a favourite on the mini album as I love the bass and the vocals which as always I get my vocals from Splice.com and the bass I got from my own collection which I got off Loopmasters.com which I cut up and made a one-shot bass for a new bass pattern. The next track I Can Love You (Remix) is a danceable club track while the original was a Jungle/Drum and Bass track I made quite some time ago around a couple of years ago. It reminds me of being in a bar for some reason and is something you can have at home or out and about or in a club, bar or rave. The next track Oi (U There) (Remix) is another favourite on the album and something you can dance to as I like to make music which you can dance to and get down to. It’s also good for those fitness people who like to gym or jog or aerobics something to fully get into. I like it as I like the happy feel to it and I think it makes you want to dance, I like the bass too and the synthy and vocal stuff and the original was a UK Funky track I made and released not so long ago. The next track You (Remix) is another one I like and I like the vocals over the bass and is a variation to my original track which was a House track I made quite some time around a couple of years ago. I remember cutting up the bass pattern to a small rhythm  one shot which I made a pattern with. The next track May You (Remix) is another favourite on the album and I like the bass and the vocals which are some of my favourite vocals I found on Splice.com I just pitched it up a bit for a bit of difference to the original which was a House track I made a couple of years ago. It’s another one for the club, party or at home or for a mix which I used myself in a mix for that energy track.  The last track Time Stands Still (You’re Still Runnin’) (Remix) is a nice relaxing chilled track while the original was a UK Funky track I made not so long ago. I like the calmness of it and is another favourite on the album. I also like the vocals over the instrumental I think it sounds alright.

Bandcamp News – New Album Release; Remix This Vol. 5

BANDCAMP NEWS

16/07/2024 - New Album; Remix This Vol. 5

More House vibes from my Remix This series and this is Vol. 5 you can check out the other albums on my free Bandcamp page which the link can be found all over this website and on the Bandcamp pages in the web player on this page. As always, I will also leave all the original tracks including my remix tracks on this website’s inspiration page, which can be found in the G.N.L. Hub in the top menu. I made this album all in one go all twelve tracks which I usually do four to five a day or night but I felt I was on a roll so I thought I’d make most of them which turned into the whole album. I have quite a few favourites on the album I like them all but my favourites are Freak Like Me, 4 Page Letter, The Rain, Stop In The Name Of Love, Don’t Let Go, Rock With You and Talk About Our Love. I would describe it as one to dance to and something under/overground that hopefully gets you through whatever you are doing whilst listening to the album. I used a lot of loops and one-shots and in the loops, I made rhythms out of the patterns and new patterns. I do see most of the tracks being played for the club and rave and I did envision it as if you were listening to it at a party or rave/club and I think is one of the best remixes I’ve done so far. They are all House remixes and I was going to add some Jungle/Drum and Bass and also maybe some UK Funky or/and UK Garage but I felt like doing a straight house album and maybe doing that for another one I’ll do in the future. It’s funny as most of the songs I picked were at random and as always all my favourite tracks were mostly from the 90s but some of them were from the 80s and also the early 00s. All the basses and drums and the synthy stuff are all from my collection of stuff I own and I do like digging into my sample pack collection and seeing what is hidden underneath all that stuff but I did take a lot of bass loops and made my own thing from by chopping up the sample to a short rhythm that fitted in the track.  While I’m here I would like to thank everyone for the support on the last Remix This which was Vol.4 I only earned £20.00 but was the most I got on Bandcamp for one album on my free download collection so I was amazed people wanted to buy my music and like it well I hope you do. I based the music I made like the House and Jungle/Drum and Bass on the…well Jungle/Drum and Bass from Bristol and the House stuff from London in the early 2000s up to 2015 and also the Sunrise event in 1989 which I’m still on a high from all the events I went to when I was younger. The album is filled with club bangers and as I said something to dance to if you are with someone or not but hopefully it won’t make you feel lonely dancing all alone with not a care in the world lol. It does feature male and female singers but I do favour female singers for my house song I always I have a woman in my mind and is the foundation of House music but male singers can do their thing.Â
