The Naff Song Remix Poll

September 15, 2025

Okay I’m leaving it up to you I chose some songs I thought were pretty naff and I’m leaving it up to you to decide what naff song I should remix and give away as a free download on my free downloads Bandcamp page. I might do four  to make up a EP I haven’t decided yet but I chose the four top selected and I’ll leave it going for a couple of months to give you plenty of time to vote. In case you have forgotten or don’t know the songs I selected I gave you the full song as the answer so you can recap and play as little or as much of the songs as possible. I do ask you to give it at least 30 seconds for each song so you make a better decision. You can pick up to two answers or though one is good enough so take your time and enjoy the cheese sticks lol.

I Am Synthia

THE INTRODUCTION

Synthia is a crossed between  a robot and synthesizer and is a fully working music station and can do various music task and is also a database of songs that was collected and programmed into her chip. Thanks to bots and links it’s more easier than ever to scan the database and add new songs but as I said she is capable of many things.  Following her quest with The Space Brothers (The Cosmic Messiah – GasNoLight.co.uk) Synthia spends her time finding the right harmonic hum to tune herself so she can live longer without rebooting she also likes to listen to music which she likes to play on her chest where the speaker is behind the thick steel. She likes all sorts of music but she is programmed and favours Electronic Synthesizer beats which she collects the most and plays quite frequent it’s part of her detuning breakdown.

Phase 3; In The Garage Stuff

May 17, 2025

I was around 9 when I began working with the UK Garage people at the Fire Station and in the outskirts of a district here in Bristol called St Paul’s. I had fun testing the keyboards and also writing stuff, which was the fun part. It’s also where I met UK Garage singer Kele Le Roc, who had her two smash hits in the UK Garage scene, one called My Love and the other is called Things We Do For Love both produced by UK Garage producer Sticky. A lot of good UK Garage came out around 1996 and was spinning some many decent tunes that I really love to hear when I’m out or even at home I had no idea any of the genres for that matter would blow up so big and became staples of the rave scene I was also a part of it’s kind of awkward to dance to lol.

Phase 2; Jungle Mindset

May 17, 2025

I was 6 when I became a flyer boy, it was in the main centre of Bristol, the old Bristol, and I used to shove flyers in people’s hands it was then when I saw the New Year’s Eve flyer to one of the events but it was then when I deceied I wanted to be a Graphic Designer I was practicing drawing at first before I picked up the keyboard and piano. We used to meet at a place called the Fire Station in the main centre of Bristol which was also a studio and a well used studio the place is a radio station called Ujima a good radio station actually and the other place which was on the outskirts of a district called St Pauls but that’s now a music college called DBs.

Phase 1; Smiling At Sunrise

May 15, 2025

I was four years old when I went to my first rave in the late summer of 1989 it was called Sunrise Back To The Future and was an all-night and day party that was the height of the illegal rave scene. It had live acts too, like Cry Sisco – Afrodizziac, Razzette – Ready For Love, E-Zee Posse – Everything Starts With A E, and Doug Lazy – Let It Roll. Also, it had its own fairground rides, coffee stand, bouncy castles and more. It was also quite packed,  Also, there were live DJS like Carl Cox and Paul Trouble AndersonÂ
